Description
The Opinel Stainless Steel #8 Trekking Knife is the iconic adventure knife! Incredibly light, ergonomically designed and durable, this knife is a perfect companion for everyone including the lightweight hiker, the devoted picnicer and the fearless adventurer. First crafted in 1890 and still currently made in the Haute Savoie region of France. This knife features a gorgeous olive wood handle, sourced locally from sustainably managed forests in the Jura region. Opinel’s efficient yet elegant Virobloc® locking system twists to lock the blade in either the open or closed position. The Sandvik 12C7 stainless steel Yatagan blade requires no special care and will not rust or tarnish, and a carbon content of 0.4% adds to its sharpness.
