The Alpine Bivy is Outdoor Research’s most durable, breathable and comfortable bivy bag and has just been revamped for 2019 so it’s now 37% lighter. Made from tape-sealed 3-layer Gore-Tex with a reinforced base and bug mesh closure, it features a single lightweight pole to keep your face unconstricted. Ingenious design additions include: straps to keep your sleeping mat in place, a mesh pocket near the head, peg loops and a guyline to keep the bag in place. There’s also plenty of space down the foot end to store a small pack. This is the King of Bivy Bags.
