Description
When Sea to Summit decided to branch out into sleeping bags they did so with an unparalleled passion and design expertise. The Alpine is one of their original models and still their ultimate high-mountain down bag.
The contoured mummy is the most thermal and weight-efficient shape and has the most ergonomically-designed foot box which is a pleasure the relax into. The main zip is protected by carefully-placed anti-snag draught tubes, while a half-zip on the right hand side allows for the use of both arms and extra ventilation if needed. Offset baffles eliminate cold spots while the generous hood has a dual adjustment drawcord. The NanoShell fabric beads off condensation and the fill itself is 850+ Loft Ultra-Dry Down (responsibly-sourced, of course) to virtually eliminate the danger of wet feathers. The Alpine is designed for the most extreme environments and sized to allow for extra layers of clothing inside.
The Alpine II has an EN13537 temperature comfort range of -12°C to -20°C and comes with compression sack and storage cell. The regular bag is designed for users between 170 cm and 183 cm tall and the long bag is designed for users between 183 cm and 195 cm tall.
