Description
Sea to Summit may have the best range of sleeping bags north of Invercargill, but top-of-the-range goose down is getting pretty expensive. Hence, the Trek series – their economy range of bags. Now anyone can own a Sea to Summit sleeping bag. And the Trek is no thrown-together entry-level effort either – it’s as well-designed as the rest of the range.
The Trek III has an EN13537 temperature comfort range of -6°C to -12°C. The shell boasts a differential cut so that down lofts around the body through the excess fabric; vertical chest baffles prevent down rolling off the chest when horizontal; it is also treated with super-strong DWR – watch the water roll off it; add in two, 2-way #5 YKK zips, anti-snag 3D draft tube, internal pocket – it’s a beast. The Trek is designed to open out into a quilt or couple with other Sea to Summit sleeping bags with opposite side zips to make a cosy double bed. Comes with an internal valuables pocket, compression sack and storage cell.
For sizing: the Regular fits users between 165cm and 183cm, and the Long fits user up to 192cm. For more on how to choose a sleeping bag, check out our Sleeping Gear Guide.
